The sweatshirt knit is made from 100% organic cotton, which is guaranteed by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and GOTS certification. It is a product belonging to the category of row knitted fabrics with a pilling, and it is this pilling that creates the pilling in these sweatshirt textiles by incising the threads of the left side of the fabric and subjecting them to a draping process. Organic knitwear, unlike woven fabric, is by its very nature gently elastic, which translates into comfortable wear even though there is no synthetic fibre admixture. Mesquite knit is visually slightly thicker than its non-scratch counterpart.
